New Caledonia have qualified for the final of the men's tournament at the XIV Pacific Games after beating Tahiti 3-1 in extra-time at Stade Yoshida in Koné.

26' Lolohea goes one-on-one with Samin but the goalkeeper makes a good save

27' Poroiae bends a free kick into the New Caledonia box but Dounezek catches it

29' New Caledonia nearly open the scoring when Kai beats Samin but Vetea Tepa clears the ball off the line

29' Kai has another chance and hits the side netting this time

33' Kai turns sharply in the box and shoots but again Samin saves

34' Tepa is injured for Tahiti and play is held up while he recovers
