NEW RULE: FREE HIT
The FIH in its 2009 rules has introduced under rule 13.2 a Mandatory Experimental Rule for taking a free hit, centre pass and putting the ball back into play after it has been outside the field.
Currently the AHL and all National Championships are and will be playing with the "new rule".
All State (and regional) Associations will be introducing the 'new rule' across all of their grades for the 2009 season.
