Kerry represented North Queensland, Queensland and Australia as a teenager from Innisfail before forging a long career in Sydney and England. After retiring as a player in 1989 he coached North Queensland to a state league premiership in 1991 before becoming the first CEO of the Cowboys. Kerry represented Australia 25 times including 2 Kangaroo tours.
