The Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs wish to congratulate Toyota Cup backrower Danny Fualalo on his selection to represent New South Wales under 18’s against Queensland in the curtain raiser to State of Origin two next Wednesday night.
Fualalo - who has been a standout performer for the Bulldogs under 20’s this season - was this week named in the 17 man squad to face the Maroons, in recognition of his efforts against competition up to two years older than him in 2012.
Also included in the squad is the Melbourne Storm’s Dean Britt - son of former Bulldogs skipper Darren Britt.
“Danny’s been a great addition to our squad this season and he thoroughly deserves his selection for NSW,” Bulldogs Toyota Cup coach Andy Patmore said.
“He’s a good kid and he’s shown great maturity against older, more experienced competition in 2012.
“He’ll get a lot out of this experience and I’m sure he’ll come back to us an even more well rounded player.”
The NSW Under 18’s take on the QLD Under 18’s at ANZ Stadium on Wednesday, June 13 2012 prior to Game Two of the Harvey Norman State of Origin series.
