Round 11 - Rams Turn Off Power Penrith Rams recorded a solid 41 point win over Southern Power in Round 11 at Greygums Oval. It was the team's third win of the season and still within reach of finals football for 2009. The Reserves put up a competitive display against the Uni NSW/ES Bulldogs but ran out fresh legs. The Under 18's suffered their second loss of the season when they failed by just two points to overcome Power. more -->
Round 10-Rams Bag Double The Rams travelled to Macquarie Uni in Round 10 with the early start again not being an issue as the 18's held their top of the ladder position with a 63 point win. The undermanned reserves caused the boilover of the round with a gritty and well deserved 12 point win over the finals contenders but were unable to pull off the treble in the firsts with many players backing up to field a team. more -->
Round 9 Roundup Penrith Rams played only the two games in Round 9 of the competition. The Firsts took on competition leaders UTS Bats at Trumper Park and a spirited display saw them lead at half time. They could not maintain the momentum with the Bats continuing on the road to the finals. The Under 18's again scored a convincing win against Pennant Hills Demons at Ern Holmes with an impressive 73 point victory. more -->

Magpies Repeat Dose For the second successive week, the Rams took on Moorebank Sports but this week at the neutral Gwawley Park. It was almost a carbon copy of the previous week with the Rams 18's recording a big win whilst Reserves were no match for the Pies. In First Grade, the Rams took a half time lead but plenty of injuries took their toll with Moorebank recording a 33 point win. more -->
Bright Day Turns Bleak Round 8 saw the Under 18's record a comprehensive win over fouth placed Moorebank Sports at Greygums on Saturday under sunny conditions. But like the weather, it turned bleak during the day with the Reserves being no match for the Magpies whilst the undermanned Firsts were unable to maintain their winning streak in going down by thirty points. more -->
Congratulations Jim Wright The Rams wish to congratulate Jim Wright on his selection by the AFL (NSW/ACT) as "Volunteer of the Week".
Jim has been involved with the Penrith Club for many years and as well as his involvement on match day as goal umpire in both senior grades, is always seen at training to help out in various coaching roles. Full story on next page. more -->

Rams Exorcise Demons Penrith Rams scored a sensational win over 2008 Premiers, Pennant Hills, at Henson Park on Sunday. After concerns were raised by Rams representatives about various repairs required, the Council acted promptly and professionally to rectify the problems.
