Last week we witnessed one of the best come backs in recent history, with a stirring 1 point win in the Mountain Shield over Dunnstown. With one minute left Jackson Murphy goaled to snatch the win after being 21 points with less than 10 minutes left. This win will give our finals chances a big lift. Better players were Clohesy, James Brick, Stevens, Buchanan, Murphy and Reid.

The Reserves had a bad day last week going down by 22 points. Better players were McKenzie, Webb, Prendergast, Lehman and Nicholson.

Our under 18’s last week had a massive 109 point win over Dunnstown last week with Condor kicking 6 goals. Better players were Trevenan, Mahar, Noble, Bee, Kierce and Condor. Our under 15’s suffered their first loss last week by 21 points. Better players were Forbes, Rose, Trevenan, Damen, Wieightman and Cousins. The boys have the chance to redeem themselves this week against the top side in Learmonth.

A Grade netball remain unbeaten after a 32 goal win over third placed Dunnstwon last week. B Grade lost by 10, C Grade won by 10, the under 17’s won by 12, the under 15s won by 10 and under 13 girls won by 21.

Our next function is the Blood and Guts Cup next week at the Springbank Game. A luncheon will be held in the social rooms. For enquiries see John Mahar or Darren Rix.
