Around the half way mark.

The season is starting to move through and now is the time we must look to where we are and to where we need to be in the near future. All football teams have performed quite well and are placed in the five at this stage. This is a good spot for the clubs standing within Wimmera football and the committee and members are happy but not content to let anyone rest on their laurels.

Netball has been a big mover within the club with most teams puting up spirited performances every Saturday and recently the club had a record number drawn from its ranks to play in rep. squads at the zone championships in Bendigo. A testement to the coaches and staff running this area of the club. 

The club also takes great pride in our under 12s recent performance in the wimmera zone carnival held in Horsham recently. Hats must go off to Jim White , Terry Robins, and Darren Gebert and all assistants that helped out on the day. The club has entered teams in this carnival for the last ten to twelve years and this is the first overall win. A fantastic result! 

Also a note of support for the clubs major sponsors in Sherwell Ahrens and Luv-a-Duck. These two businesses employ a large number of local people and also put a huge amount back into our community . Lets now ,whenever we can lend our support back to these sponsors as often as we can.
