HFC Reserves Division 3 Premiers 2009
On Behalf of the Hurstbridge Football Club Committee and members, we would like to congratulate
Paul Holzer and his Reserves on winning the NFL Division 3 Reserves Premiership in 2009. This team could very well be one of the best Reserves teams Hurstbridge has ever put on the field. The team went 11 straight wins during the season, and secured the Minor Premiership quite clearly from its nearest Rival South Morang. The played South Morang in the last game of the season securing a massive victory, only to recieve a 1 point loss the following week in the 2nd Semi Final. Showing the heart and determination that the team had delivered for the majority of the season, they blew Parkside away with win of over 100 pts. They faced up against South Morang in the Grand Final, and this time showed why they were the best team in Division 3 playing out and tough game and winning a well deserved Premiership.
