CLUB HISTORY

The Gisborne Bulldogs Basketball Club was formed in 1994 by a group of local parents.

The idea was for local children from Gisborne and surrounding areas to be able to play together in the Sunbury Basketball Association competition whilst still training in Gisborne with their friends.

The club has grown considerably during the past few years playing in both the Junior and Senior Competitions. Teams train in Gisborne and play in Sunbury, Gisborne or Riddells Creek three days of the week. Juniors play on Saturdays.

With a membership of about 400 players throughout the Macedon Ranges, the Bulldogs have become a very successful presence in the Sunbury competition.
