Tawa AFC  

Tawa AFC was formed in 1971 when a couple of junior coaches in the area felt it was necessary to have a local identity and focus on the juniors living in Tawa. Such was the interest from senior players in the Tawa area that two senior teams were formed at the same time. Clubrooms were erected on Redwood Park in 1981.
