South Barwon Ladies Day – 27th July, 2013 – please note change of date!
This annual event is back on again up at the footy club and once again promises to be a fantastic day. It is held between 1 – 4pm during the South Barwon/Lara home game in the clubrooms and there will be live entertainment as well as food and drinks being provided for a cover charge of $30 per head. You are able to book tables in advance either by phoning Lynne Blacksell on 0407 436453 or by emailing blacksell.smash@bigpond.com. Tickets will also be available on the day at the door but it would be appreciated if you could let either Lynne or Roger know before Monday 22nd July to help with catering numbers, the earlier the better.

The AFL has commenced the roll out of its community level concussion management guidelines following the introduction of updated guidelines for AFL Clubs prior to the start of the 2013 Toyota AFL Premiership Season.

DISABLED CAR PARKING
A statewide Disabled Persons’ Parking Scheme currently operates in Victoria.
Our Disabled Car Park at McDonalds Reserve is located near the Umpires Rooms/Womens Toilets.
If you do not have a disabled permit or the permit holder is not travelling in the vehicle – You cannot park in that car space. Even for pick ups
We also have a No-Parking zone, which enables access to the ground in case of emergency. Located next to the Disabled Car Park.
Could all players, parents & supporters please refrain from parking in these areas.

VCFL Cybersafety Policy
The SBFNC fully endorses the Victorian Country Football League’s Cybersafety Policy (see attachment). The policy outlines direction and procedures for clubs and individuals relating to cyberbullying and associated penalties including suspension should charges be proven. We advise players and parents to read and be aware of the policy which describes Cyberbullying as “Cyberbullying is a way of delivering covert psychological bullying. It uses information technologies to support deliberate, repeated and hostile behaviour, by an individual or group that is intended to harm others.” (Belsey 2007).
