Vic Park will not be in use for training between 22 February and 11 March 2016. Information on training venues during this time will be notified to players at training prior to these dates.
General Training Information
Each age division trains at the same time, at the same grounds. As much as possible, we are sharing opportunities and goals as one club.
- Under 16s training is held at Victoria Park, Echuca, on Tuesday and Thursday afternoons from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
- Under 14s training will be held on at Victoria Park, Echuca, on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
- Under 12’s training will be held on 208 Central School oval. Trainign is on Wednesday afternoons from 4:00 pm to 5:30 pm.
Players are expected to attend training in full training gear, i.e. training top, shorts, football boots and mouth guard and be ready to start training at 4.00 pm.
Parents are expected to be at the oval by 5:30pm to collect their children.
Game Day
- Jumpers are provided by the Club. Parents will be asked to take turns to wash the team jumpers. A roster is available showing Jumper Duty.
- Helmets are compulsory and must be worn by all players. Helmets are provided by the Club.
- Gear Provided by Players includes:
- Football shorts – Green with white stripes on the side
- Football socks – Green and white
- Football boots
- Mouth guards
- Mouth Guards are compulsory at training and on game day. They ARE NOT provided by the Club . No player will be permitted to take the field for training or for a game without a mouth guard in place.
- Transport to Away Games. Players and families will either travel directly to the away game venue by private car or meet at a pre-arranged location for group travel together by bus or private cars to the away game ground. If a player needs a lift to or from home please contact your coach or team manager so arrangements can be made.
- Unavailable to Train or Play? The Club understands that players will sometimes not be able to train or play. Please let your coaches or team manager know as soon as possible.
