Playing seasons
- Winter (School Terms 2 and 3)
- Summer (School Terms 4 and 1)
- (via email you can register "intent to play next season" at any time and online registration forms will be released at the end of the previous season)
- Playing tops are distributed at the first game. Please ensure all tops are handed in at your last game for the season as they remain the property of Zodiacs Basketball Club
- Please provide your own navy blue shorts (must NOT have pockets)
- NEW players must email zodiacsbasketball@gmail.com to register intent to play next season (include date of birth and contact phone numbers). You must advise if you have previously played for another club within the Eastern Hills Basketball Association (at any time in the past as you may still need a clearance before playing). You will be emailed with club information. Please read the notes regarding uniforms and Subs fees. (Below) This email DOES NOT REGISTER YOU for the next season. All players must register themselves online and pay subs by bank transfer to the club before each season, once registration form is released. Registration forms are not released until the previous season has finished Finals. However, for new players we need to be notified before registration to ensure that we DO HAVE a spot available for the player.
- All Juniors must be accompanied by a Parent / Carer at all times. Whilst in the Sports Centre, children under 16 years must be supervised by a parent or guardian. Having unsupervised children running around the centre is a safety and WH & S risk.
- Transferring players - when you register with us you MUST advise if you have ever played for another club in the Eastern Hills Basketball Association. We will handle the clearance / permit online.
- Once you have been confirmed to have a spot in Zodiacs, all players must be self-registered with Basketball Australia online before they take to the court. We will send you a link via email and Facebook. This is a 12 month registration which will give you a FIBA number, and that registration is yours for life. There is an annual fee for this. The Basketball Australia fee is valid from October to September. This registration form for any season is not available until the last Final has been played for the current season.
- If you register for the summer season (October onwards) you will not have to pay that fee again for the following Winter season, but you will have to do the actual online registration again for the Winter season.
- PER SEASON (6 months) Zodiacs charges their own Subs payment. This is requested in advance of each new season and payment is by bank transfer (please wait for notification)

Each Junior Team (up to Under 18's) will require a Team Manager to help things run smoothly during the Season. It is not a difficult job and you get more out of being part of the Club, whilst helping us communicate with players.
If you have any coaching experience and would like to Coach at all, please get in touch at zodiacsbasketball@gmail.com. All Junior teams require a coach(es).
