Senior Men's

Para Hills Knights Senior Men's Team won the Devine Premier League in 2012 giving promotion into the new Premier League for the club in 2013. The Knights finished top managing to hold Adelaide Cobras at bay  with only goal difference seperating the clubs, round 18 was extremely close with Cobras closing the gap with a 7 - 4 win over local rival  however, Knights stood firm and secured the championship.

2013 holds many challenges with the new structure of 14 teams in the premier league and 16 teams in the state league. The new player point system has also been  introduced,  with Senior players being rewarded for being loyal to the club as well junior players earning bonus points as rising stars should they play seniors.

2013 will be a very tough year with 26 games in the season then a final 6 Series, Para Hills Knights are positioned well to take up the challange with Simon Catanzaro (3 times Sergio Melta Winner) Coaching the Senior team.

Coaching Development

Para Hills FC first team train 3 nights per week (Monday, Tuesday, Thursday) , during the regular season the squad utilizes "Fast Twitch Elite Performance Training Centre of Excellence"  based at Klemzig , Adelaide generally on a Monday night. This is used as the squads strength and conditioning night of a normal training week throughout the season, this facility is also used by players in the first team squad who are injured , coming back from injury or extra conditioning sessions individuals may need through the course of a season.

The other 2 nights (Tuesday/Thursday) are used for tactical/technical sessions relating to game plans and preparing for our next game

Focus:
Para Hills in the past have been known by the local football fraternity as a hard working unit that are very fit, this part of the game component under me hasnt really changed too much, we continue to work hard at training but our focus is all football orientated, very rarely will a training session be held or planned without the usage of 2x goals and goalkeepers, the best way we see ourselves improving as a club is from the top (1st team)down to our juniors is to always have a ball at our players feet and try to improve our "football skills" every session we take part in.

Our focus will continue to develop players to play first grade for Para Hills one day, preferably players who have come through the clubs youth ranks and use the Para Hills set-up as a stepping stone to (for some) live a dream to becoming a professional footballer one day.

We are continuing to build a culture at the club that when we come into training/game days (although we accept we are only semi-pro) we act like professionals, listen and continually learn, represent the jersey with pride and build a winning culture. The first team abide by a code of conduct set up by the leadership group they all have signed off on and adhere to , its a commitment agreed to and administered by the playing group only.

With the first team continually practicing these techniques over the next few years and players who are promoted or come new to the club, we see the club being one of the biggest clubs in the state hopefully moving forward.
