Round Seventeen The last two games have been exciting for the Hawks as they start to deliver on the scoreboard and put other teams under pressure. Belconnen may have been out of Finals contension going into the game however the Hawks were determined to show they are no longer a walk over. more -->
Round Sixteen Resting their big names on the bench for the start of the match, Harman underated the determination of the Hawks as they set the scene for the first half of the game. While it ended in a disapointing loss, much can be taken away from this game. more -->
Round Fifteen The difference between a good side and a great side is the ability to put the scoreboard pressure on in a short amount of time. And that is what Gungahlin were able to do in the second half to win comfortably by 55 in the end. more -->
Round Fourteen The prospect of playing on a smaller oval suited the Hawks new style of play and the team went into the game hoping to come away with a close but well earned victory. more -->
Round Thirteen This was the second time in 2009 the two teams met to play for the Glenn Flanagan memorial trophy. The ANZAC Day clash is the Hawks only win so far this year however it was always going to be hard with the Juggers big names returning for the rematch. more -->
Round Twelve It a case of Dejuva for the Hawks as they lost to Woden with the score board reading the same as the previous week 174 - 45. more -->
Round Eleven After a great start against ANU the previous week, the Hawks were looking to build on the new structure and make amends for their first round performance against ADFA. more -->
Round Ten With half the year gone, it was back to round one against ANU, which was turned into our round nine game but then brought forward to be our round one game again so we didn't play them twice in a row. A change was in the air and the Hawks were ready for the new challenge of the second half of the season. more -->
Round Eight The final frontier for the Hawks as the first half of the year draws to a close. Can the boys finish with a win and set up their second half. more -->
Round Seven It was back to the future for the Hawks this week as they went down to the Belconnen Magpies by 81 points. more -->
Round Six Harman came expecting an easy win however that was not the case despited the Hawks loosing by 49. more -->
Round Five This week saw the Hawks travel to the Never Never to take on the Gungahlin Jets at Amaroo. With the improvement of the team over the past two rounds we were not expecting to be beaten by 58 points. more -->
Round Four This week we were at home to Eastlake who with one win as well were sitting just above us on the ladder on percentage. more -->
Round Three It was off to Stirling to take on the Black and Red in Round Three of the AFL Canberra Division 3 competition. more -->
Round Two A tough hit out at Greenway against Woden saw the Hawks go down by 59 points on Sunday 19 April. more -->
