Two Notices of Motion have been received by the Secretary and will be put at the A.G.M. on November 7, 2012.

Notice of Motion 1

"That the Constitution be changed by altering the following....

4. Classes of Members

(d) Honorary Members

Honorary Life Members may be granted at the discretion of the Board to persons, who in the   opinion of the Board have rendered conspicuous service to the Club over a period of not less than six (6) years.

Notice of Motion 2

“That the ByLaws be changed by adding the following..

 Prohibition on use of information on register of members

 (1) A member of the association must not—

 (a) use information obtained from the register of members of the association to contact, or send material to, another member of the association for the purpose of advertising for political, religious, charitable or commercial purposes; or

(b) disclose information obtained from the register to someone else, knowing that the information is likely to be used to contact, or send material to, another member of the association for the purpose of advertising for political, religious, charitable or commercial purposes.

(2) Subrule (1) does not apply if the use or disclosure of the information is approved by the association.”
