Its Back to Back Devery –Kelly Medals For Gough
An outstanding season from Morningside ruckman Jacob Gough has seen him take out his 2nd Devery-Kelly Medal for the fairest & Best award, held at the Morningside Football Club on Saturday night.
The 28-year-old polled votes in 11 games throughout the season, collecting a total of 108 to win midfield duo Paul Shelton (89) and Ryan Holman (82 votes).

UPTON SET FOR GAME '100' WITH DOWNS MATES
Toowoomba’s Tyson Upton will post his 100th senior match for Morningside on Sunday as he heads a three-man Darling Downs connection in the 2009 QAFL grand final against Mt.Gravatt in Brisbane.

Joyce Impressive in Panthers Win
The Bombers took on 2008 grand finalists Morningside in a practice match at Coorparoo and found themselves seven goals behind at halftime.
Both teams threw their sides around and the Bombers were much more productive in the second half, bridging the margin to just 18 points at the final siren.

Panthers Relish Cairns Game
AFL Queensland will continue a strong push into regional areas next year, with Velocity Sports Cup premiership matches to be played in Cairns, Townsville and the Sunshine Coast.
All will involve the new Northern Territory team, to be coached by former Brisbane Bears club champion Michael McLean.
