At Sunday night's presentation of awards, crowned Under 16 Div 2 Best & Fairest Player, Angus Hubert, was adjudged 'Best on Ground' in the replay by AFLBJ officials, however, it wasn't to be in 2009 after the two teams fought out a 11.10. 76 draw the previous week. At the Under 16s & Under 18's presentations, Hubert was also named as Junior Achiever for the year while James Halpin won the prestigious Kevin Duke Perpetual Shield.
Jye Hall & Alex Sexton were the B & F runners-up in the Div 2 while Callum Lynch and Liam Quinnell shared the prize in the Div 4 when they were runners-up to Best & Fairest Player, Richard Jenkie. Bradley Malin and Brayden Mayfield took out the Under 16's Parent's Awards.
