Come and cheer on the Girls as they make history!
Down at the club this Sunday our U15 Girls team take to the field at 2pm. The excitement in the girls team is brimming and the skills high. It would be great to get as many Puma supporters to cheer on the girls in this first for the club.

Congratulations to Shane Murrihy – 200th!
Congratulations to Shane Murrihy on your 200th game. The highlight for Shane was in the 4th quarter from a quick play on which resulted in Murrihy running into an open goal to finish with a major.
Thankyou to Brad Griffiths and Craig Mapperson!
Coaching is perhaps the most demanding and pivotal role that you can take on. Sadly we say goodbye to two fantastic Pumas coaches. U9 – Brad Griffiths and Family are leaving the club to travel to Perth. Brad has already headed off and his family will follow in a couple of months. Brad you will be sorely missed and we wish you the very best of luck over in Perth. U12 – Craig Mapperson has stepped down due to a medical condition. This was a very tough decision for Craig and we send our support to the Mappersons whilst Craig gets on the mend.
It’s the little things!
I was cleaning the sheds the other week when I noticed a small orange laminated card just near the light switch of our home team change rooms. After reading the words on the card it made me reflect on why I spend tireless hours at the club.
I don’t cheer for the one ‘jet’ or ‘gun’, I cheer for everyone. I don’t devote everything I have to MY team, I devote everything for OUR club. I am not just here for the footy, I am here for the community and to make it a better place. I cheer the loudest for the volunteers who give up their time selflessly. I don’t waste MY TIME with people who say THEY DON’T HAVE THE TIME or don’t help at all. I have even less time for those of you who criticise the hard work of the volunteer and yet do not give anytime yourself. Yes, I cheer the loudest for the volunteers and all of the kids.
Do yourself a favour, go and read the orange card, thank the guy who put it there and reflect on how you might be able to help out around the club.
