The Werribee Cricket Club was the big winner when the dividends for the 2011/2012 Tigers Sports Assist program were announced at the Tigers Clubhouse last Tuesday night.
14 sporting clubs in the City of Wyndham shared in the $50,000 handed out by Tigers Clubhouse General Manager Julie Shelton and Werribee Tigers CEO Mark Penaluna.
The program is heading into its third year and is open to clubs in the City of Wyndham whose members purchase food and beverages from the Tigers Clubhouse. Clubs accumulate points and based on that, the funds are distributed.
The Werribee Cricket Club had 45% of the points so their share of the pot was $22,740.79.
