The Werribee Football Club has reached a financial agreement with the Williamstown Football Club for player Scott Clouston. Scott advised Werribee that he wanted to continue his playing career at Williamstown, despite having a year of his Werribee contract to run.
The Werribee Football Club is disappointed with Scott’s decision and believes the club gave Scott very strong support on and off the field in his relocation from Brisbane, including assistance in finding employment with a local building company.
Club Coach John Lamont said “This is disappointing, but it gives another person at our club an opportunity, and that is what our club is about. We want players who are committed, dedicated and loyal to the club, the team and their team mates”.
