A Rip Roaring Day at Chirnside Park
As part of the partnership between the Werribee Football Club and The Down Syndrome Association of Victoria (DSAV) this Saturday's game is a specially dedicated match. Members of the DSAV will be admitted free of charge, and the children will the offered a complimentary sausage in bread and can of drink."We are encouraging all DSAV members in Melbourne to support the event, by coming dressed in black & gold and barracking for the Werribee Tigers" says Sue Modra, the DSAV's community development worker.
Undoubtedly one of the highlights of the day will be the half time AusKick presentation involving DSAV members.
We are very pleased to be joining with the Down Syndrome Association of Victoria, an organisation that embraces the community as we at the Werribee Football Club do also," says President John Nicol. "We look forward to a long and fruitful relationship and raising public awareness of Down syndrome.
