Prime Minister Gillard has been a familar face at Avalon Airport Oval for a number of years in her role as Club Patron. The Club looks forward to that continuing into the future.

After 12 years at the club as a player, reserves coach and senior coach Simon Atkins will finish this weekend when the Tigers take on Casey Scorpions. Simon has done a great job and will be greatly missed.

Werribee hosted the Dolphins at Avalon Airport Oval. Robbie Castello played his 100th VFL game in a very good victory for the Tigers.

2009 Round 12 Past Players Day V Williamstown
It was a very big day at Chirnside Park last Sunday with a lot happening in the President’s Lunch including guest speakers Russell Mark, Merv Hughes, Brooke Addamo and Simon Atkins. Club historians John & Julie McCarthy unveiled the new goalkicking honour board and former Williamstown star Ian Rickman won the business card raffle, his prize a Werribee Football Club hoodie. It was past players day and it was against Williamstown.

What a great win by the Tigers in front of a very good crowd of about 3000 people. The President's Room was chockers with over 250 in the Dinner.
Congrats to the all who contributed on and off the field to a great night.
2009 888 Poker Night
Werribee Tigers held its first poker night at Chirnside Park. The winner on the night of the fantastic Harvey Norman plasma was first year player Darren Haby. He played his first game last Saturday and his luck keeps going.
2009 Bruce Montgomery Trophy Night
The function Centre at the Werribee Racing Club was the venue for the 2009 Best and Fairest award night. Michael Barlow won the Bruce Montgomery Trophy.
2009 Dale Morris Squad
Under the guidance of Robbie Castello, Werribee Junior Development Officer, some of the WRFL's Under 18's are in the Dale Morris squad. They will train at Chirnside Park and be given help to reach the next level.

Werribee staff, players and supporters took advantage of a special VIP night at Harvey Norman Hoppers Crossing. Thanks to Simon and his very friendly staff for looking after us.

The Werribee players were joined by over a dozen North Melbourne players to host about 100 kids in a nab Auskick clinic at Chirnside Park.
