Fremantle Roosters v South West Warriors Charity Match
This event is a fundraiser for Martin Bartle - member of the 2012 FRLFC 1st grade team, and also member of the 2011 South West Warriors Grand Final Team.
Martin was diagnosed with cancer late in 2012, and is presently undergoing treatment. Not only is Martin dealing with the huge challenge of regaining his full health, he has also obviously been off work for the past few months, with the same living expenses we all have.
We see this game as a great opportunity to celebrate Martin being a part of our club and the WARL community, to let him know that we're all thinking of him, and as a way of making as much of a financial contribution towards him as we can.
We hope you'll enjoy us for a great game of football, have a traditional Kiwi meal and take part in the auction of some NRL memorabilia that's been generously donated - all proceeds will be going towards Martin and his recovery.
The All Stars match will be on the big screen from 5pm also.
