A last minute try from five eight Greg Crampton clinched the two points for the Blues. In the last minutes of the game Kangaroo's Adam Hall kick a field goal to put the Roo's in front by a point after the teams were locked together 18 - 18 all. To the delight of the home crowd in the final seconds of the game Crampton broke the Roo's defence to score a brilliant try under the posts.
