Hi All Players and Parents,
A big congratulations to our U12 Blue side for making the Grand Final this Saturday. The boys kick off 9.00am against Beachmere at Beerwah. We would love to see a mass of Blue and Gold down there to help get the boys home and bring home the FLAG!!!! If you can’t make it come to training this Thursday night from 5.00pm for Grand Final BBQ. Go you mighty Pirates!!!!
This Sunday is our Presentation day. The committee has been working hard to make this a great day. Jodie Busby has secured some great rides for all age groups, Johnny Hope has the food ready to go and I will be running the bar, YE HA!!!
The day will start with the trophy presentations. Once again this year the participation trophies will be done under marquees in age groups. U7s and U8s will be in marquee no.1, U9s and U10s will be in marquee no.2, U11s and U12s will be in marquee 3 and U13s and U14s will be in marquee 4. Once all age groups are finished everyone needs to make way back to club house veranda for perpetual trophies. This is important that all parents have their kids sitting there to see some of our players receive these high honour awards. Please be aware, Rides will not open till Presentations are finished!!
9.00am Players arrive and make their way to age group marquee.
9.30am Presentations start for age groups.
10.15am Presentations for Perpetual Awards (please make way to club house veranda)
10.45am Rides Open!! All players will be given a wrist band for rides and lunch. Siblings/Friends can by a wrist band on the day for $10.00. This will entitle the child to rides and lunch.
11.00am Lunch will be available till 2pm
11.00am Bar open, Beer and Wine tickets $3.00. No BYO please, all alcohol to be consumed in designated area.
Remember the committee has kids as well so if you can chip in where needed that would be great.
