Grand Final - Under 10's

Emdee Engineering Under 10 Whites

This year’s Group 21 JRL Under 10 Grand Final saw two Singleton sides go head to head in the decider. Both the Whites and Reds started the game with great intensity and skill level. The opening try came after a fantastic solo run by the Whites centre Oscar Roberts and was converted by Fletcher Turner. Both teams attacked each others line but the defence held strong. Following a kick down field the Whites managed to score again with a try to front rower Lleyton Rose. The try was converted by Jack Richardson and this remained the half time score with the Whites leading 12 - 0.

The second half started with both sides attacking and defending well. It was a trademark Mitchell Bellamy run that saw him bump off several defenders to score what was the match winning try for the Whites. The conversion by Sam Merrick took the score to 18 - 0 which was the final score. During the presentation Jackson Shade was named ‘Man of the Match’. Captain Clay Osborne made a memorable speech thanking all players and officials, well done Clay. Coach Mark Caslick would like to congratulate both Singleton teams on a great game which showcased why the future of rugby league in Singleton is in great shape. The White team was; Mitchell Bellamy, Lachlan Caslick, Cody Farrugia, James Graylaw, Callum Honey, Andrew Lambkin, Sam Merrick, Clay Osborne(c), Jordan Palmer, Jack Richardson, Oskar Roberts, Lleyton Rose, Jack Scott, Jackson Shade, Fletcher Turner and Riley Woods. Well done to all boys of both teams.
