FEES
Yes, it is that time of year again when we need to start collecting fees. Details of the fees structure and methods of payment are in the attached registration document.
Registration Forms
For those of you who have not filled in a registration form, can you either email it back to me or give it to me some time over the weekend.
Uniforms
The club treasurer Laurie Hannigan is the man to see about getting a club shirt. He can be contacted on Laurie.Hannigan@cea.com.au or you can contact me and I will see if I can organise some gear.
Shorts are white from any of the sport stores in Canberra, same with the socks either completely red or with two white stripes on the top.
Mouthguards and Shin Pads. Under the Hockey ACT insurance policy, it is highly unlikely that players will be covered for injury if they are not wearing mouthguards and shin pads. This includes trainings as well as games, so I would like to encourage all players to be safety first and remember to wear shin pads and mouth guards.
Events:
Minkey Presentation Day. Saturday 22 August 10 am to 2 pm
In conjunction with the final Minkey day for the winter season, United Hockey Club is holding its Minkey Presentation day, with a jumping castle and the Gecko Gang coming along to entertain the kids, a parents versus Kids Minkey game and other events planned. It should be a great way to finish off a successful Minkey season.
NOTE: All first grade squad members are expected to attend this event.
