AFL Rising Star Nomination Round 15 - Arryn Siposs

ST KILDA teenager Arryn Siposs is the AFL Rising Star nomination for Round 15.

The 19-year-old had 17 possessions, took six marks and kicked two goals in the Saints' 71-point win over Essendon at Etihad Stadium last Saturday night.

The young forward played seven matches this season, averaging 12 disposals, after five games in his debut season in 2011.

Senior coach Scott Watters said this nomination is reward for Arryns hard work.

"This year Arryn has dedicated himself to becoming professional in the way he prepares," coach Scott Watters said. "His capacity to play multiple roles combined with his elite kicking skills are highly valued. And with a continued focus on improvement we believe Arryn can develop into an extremely versatile player."

Siposs was pick 75 in the 2010 AFL draft after being recruited from the Beaconsfield Junior Football Club.

He represented Vic Country in the 2010 18 Championships and played for Dandenong Stingrays in the TAC Cup.
