Rebels Overpowered By Bushrangers North Ballarat Rebels travelled to Bendigo's Queen Elizabeth Oval on Saturday, for the opening round of the 2009 TAC Cup Competition. A promising pre-season campaign, under new coach Glen Wilkins, saw the Rebels ready for action against last year's premiers, the Murray Bushrangers. It was the Bushrangers though, who came out firing with seven first quarter goals in a powerful display of aerial strength and hard running.
