Plenty happening on this front with Mick and Karen Glassborow announcing the arrival of twin boys yesterday, Noah James at 6 lbs 14 ounces and Riley Stephen at 7 lbs 1 ounce. A wonderful result for the whole Glassborow family, everyone at Aquinas OCFC congratulate and wish them well with their new additions.
This arrival has come off the back of Mick announcing to the playing group and football club that he will be moving on from his senior coaching role at Aquinas in 2009. No doubt an emotional time for Mick and the family with this decision and the arrival of the boys, we take this time to thank Mick for his efforts with the club over the past three seasons. A role which saw Michael take the club from quite a low base and into finals territory the last two years, while also nurturing and developing the young playing group coming through during his stint at the club.
We thank Michael for his early notification of his decision and the club has got onto the front foot early in establishing a process that will see a sub-committee setup and involved in sounding out possible applicants for the position. Anyone wishing to advise the club of any potential coaches should email / phone either Marcello Tarulli, Sean Flynn or Bernard Moran.
