Clean up the 1st Step to recovery

Sunday 23rd December saw the best attended working bee at the club for some years.

Thanks to all those who spent the best part of the day at the Club cleaning up after the vandalism that all but destoyed the inside of the club the other week.

The club is now in a state that can allow the rebuilding to commence, all debris has been removed, all floor coverings are gone, all the memorabilia that can be recovered has been safely stowed for restoration.

It is hoped that in the next few weeks the insurance cover will kick in & we will start to see the place being re-instated to what it was.

There will probably be more work days for volunteers in the coming weeks. If you were unable to make the clean up day, please try to make some time for some rebuilding, painting etc so we can get there quicker.

We will also confirm details of a fund raising event as soon as we can, so keep an eye on this web site for more news.

Once again, thank you to all those that assisted to those who will assist in the coming weeks.
