Inspirational U14's playing for glory

The Under 14s have earned the right to playoff in this years U14 Div 4 Grand Final.
They have done this by playing some great football and knocking off the minor premiers East Malvern in the Preliminary Final last week by 12 points. In Round 4 we lost to East Sandy by 50 points and then in Round 12 we Won by 8 points.Regardless of the result the boys have had a Great Season and deserve to be in the Granny.
We hope to see as many Highett  Supporters as possible at LePage on Sunday at 9.30am to cheer them along.
PS Congrats to the Under 11s for Wining the Granny last week, We hope to join the Premiership Club.

GRAND FINAL: (2) EAST SANDRINGHAM vs (3) HIGHETT

East Malvern Blue will be shattered after bowing out of the finals in straight sets in an inaccurate affair with Highett. At the final change, Highett had 3.13 on the scoreboard; East Malvern had 4.9. Any team could’ve potentially shot the match to bits by then, but Highett was the one who went on with it in the last term. Blake Cochrane was their best with two snags. Highett now meets East Sandringham, a team that looked very sharp in their qualifying final win over East Malvern. However, Highett defeated them in a tight contest last time they met in Round 12, so expect another close one here!
