After the under 19’s won the Grand Final last year, I approach this year with excitement as the new coach for season 2009. Wayne Hansen has had some great success in his past years of coaching this age group, not only winning a couple of flags but also structuring a playing group that can and has gone onto the next level of their Football (Seniors).

As the coach of this years group my aim is to field a competitive group of players that can mix with the top sides in the under 19s. As ¾ of the side this year are first year under 19 players we are still in our learning stage of football at the higher age level.

So far the side has preformed well only dropping a couple of games that were very winnable, I am sure as the year goes on we will win more than we lose and will still have a successful year with this new and exciting group of players.
