West Press Round 14 2012

West Press

In a game that could’ve gone either way in the end it was one we would’ve been lucky to win it was even luckier that we were allowed to draw it. Jake the Snake got the best player tickets again. The 2s easily accounted for the top team again and with players returning are making a late charge for finals action. Garret kicked goal of the day in the early game as was equally pleasing the simpleness of the umpiring in what was good to watch and allowed the teams to play the game and make mistakes.

This week its Whittlesea at home who gave us a nice old touch up last time and what has become a must win game for all 3 grades. The following week we are at home again for the Cup in what will no doubt have a huge bearing on both sides finals chances.

Around The Traps.

Vass complained about his name being spelt wrong on his jumper I asked how do you spell it and even he got it wrong. Perry took Smithy for a hair cut he was quite happy as they give you a stubby while you wait but the barber must have been waiting along time by the end result. Whats going on with the valet parking firstly Ash couldn’t do the gears then the next bloke couldn’t reach the pedals before the good spokes jumped in and put the car away before big Mick stepped in and grabbed the keys. Who asked Chimp to back the truck up and how is Hydeys protest going.
