Activate - Active Fun For Everyone Penrith City people can do AFL skill drills, rock climb, sail, play tennis, learn some circus skills, and participate in archery, weightlifting, rugby league, AFL and much more all in the one day at the popular free Activate day.

The Crows will also be accepting registrations on this day so come on down, get rego out of the way early and let the Kids experience a wide array of activities!


The popular annual day of free family fun will be held at the Sydney International Regatta Centre on Sunday, 5 November between 11am and 3pm.

Activate gives people of all ages and abilities the opportunity to try sport and recreation activities while having fun. The popular ABC Active Kidz will be performing and you can also win prizes and see demonstrations and performances by local sport and community groups.

Now in its eighth year, the event continues to grow substantially, meaning more choice and opportunities for you to try activities. This year some 40 sporting clubs and associations are involved. A bonus activity at Activate 2006 will be Australia's International Solar Boat Challenge sponsored by Roland DG that has a prize pool of some $15,000.
