History
St Clair Crows - History In 1999, the AFL (NSW/ACT) decided to form a new "Satellite" Association in the Western area of Greater Sydney.

The idea was to take away from the Northside Association three foundation Clubs, Hawkesbury, Penrith & Quakers Hill and create new Clubs within the region.

The new Clubs created for start of season 2000 were Blue Mountains Kangaroos, Emu Plains Lions, Mt Druitt Power & St Clair Crows. A fifth planned Club, Glenmore Park Eagles, failed to get off the ground due to lack of ground availability. Also, Quakers Hill did not migrate across until season 2006.

The push by the AFL (NSW/ACT) in 1999 to have volunteers to run these new Clubs with the AFL's help found two initial families, John & Julie Dimond and Barry King-Smith, both whom had children in Auskick at Penrith, to head the formation of the St Clair Crows. The first Committee meeting was held in December 1999 with the formation of positions & Committee members. John Dimond became the inaugural President for the Crows.

The name of the new Association was the Penrith Valley J.A.F.L. and in Season 2000 the Crows entered teams in Auskick, U10's & U12's.
