Hi coaches and parents of U10's and U12's Div 1, 2 and 3 teams. This Friday night 17th at Dukes I want to run a "Parent and player, learn to kick together" training session.

The session will start at 6pm and finish at 6.45pm (so people can get home while still early).

I will teach the parents and their sons/ daughters the basics of kicking a footy together. The purpose is to encourage parents to get more involved in the game and to assist in the development of their child's footy skills whilst having fun together.

All that is needed is a football so bring one along. I will have some spare footies if some players forget or don't have one.

I will be running the sessions so coaches do not have to attend if you have other plans.

We will commence our Sunday mornings sessions on Sunday, 28th April, the last Sunday of the school holidays. Times and venue are yet to be confirmed by the AFL.

New Sponsors and New Jerseys for season 2013 mean the club now has an excess of jerseys.

From our Season Launch on 22nd all players will be able to buy their jersey from Season 2012 for $10. They are a great souvenier of last season or training shirt for this season.

Once all players have had the option to buy their 2012 number all remaining shirts will be offered for general sale.

Congratulations Angus Harrold who recently competed at the All Schools National Athletics Championships in Adelaide, representing NSW. Angus threw 44.44m in the Discus placing him 5th in Australia. This was a remarkable effort given Angus gave away 50kg in body weight to some of the other competitors, but made up for it with his solid technique.
