Our club had it's beginnings in 1982 when people living in the Seven Hills area banded together to form the club because of their love of Australian Football and to provide young people in the Blacktown area the opportunity of playing this uniquely Australian team football. In the first season the club managed to bring together enough players to field two teams that played as part of the United Football Club. Training took place in those early days on the rugby fields of Grantham High School. Throughout the years, the Bombers maintained a close relationship with the Holroyd-Blacktown Club (The Goannas) with many of their senior officials being foundation members and former players with our club. The club was incorporated in 1987 and changed its name to the "Bombers". It is proud to have represented the Blacktown City districts in junior A over the past Twenty Seven Years. The Patron of our club is Mr Leo Kelly (former Mayor of Blacktown City Council) Over the years, over 1800 players have experienced our code of football with the Bombers. Many members have continued with their football after leaving the Bombers including Matthew Wheeler who went on to play with the Sydney Swans. At a time when the profile of Australian Football continues to rise and the number of clubs is increasing dramatically, our club continues to play a significant role and is making a valuable contribution towards the development of "Aussie Rules Football" in the north-western suburbs of Sydney.
