Junior Information - 9th Grade to 17th Grade (years 9 - 17 boys and girls)

Junior grades at HBC AFC are run for 9 year olds to 17 year olds. The club runs these teams based on results from the trials that are conducted on an annual basis to help determine skill level of the junior player base. The club trials are specifically held to accomplish the following -

1. Determine which players want to play at a more competitive level. These players are most likely to end up in an A or B side in their respective age group, having trialed to attain an A or B grade.
   
2. Determine players of a similar skill level to aid the formation of the lower grade teams which are likely to be less competitive. Players that do not trial and those that trial below an A or B grade are grouped together to take into consideration similar abilities and requests to play with friends and school mates.

From 10th grade upwards opportunities exist to play Rep Football run by US1 based on individual performance. The club will at their own discretion nominate and approach players that make this grade to trial for these specific teams coached under the US1 Centre of Excellence program.

15th GRADE - Girls and Boys born in 1994

17th GRADE - Girls and Boys born in 1992
