The Napier Under 19 competition is played every year and brings all the top Under 19 players in New Zealand together. There are 2 competitions, the Premier division and the Satellite competition.
Bay Olympic's previous efforts had placed us in the Premier competition.
Reflecting the quality of the teams present, all games were close encounters.
Bay Olympic drew 1- 1 with last years champs Petone, then 0 -0 with Three Kings.
They then beat Papatoetoe 4 - 3, Tawa 1 - 0 and Ellerslie 1 - 0.
Bay Olympic then faced East Coast Bays in a game that many thought who ever won would go on to win the final. East Coast Bays won 2 - 0 and went on to beat Glenfield in the final. There was no play off for 3rd - 4th.
