Shane Knowles, Director of Football for Bay Olympic, would like to introduce Steve Erkkila - Speed Coach. Steve has coached Olympic athletes, NZ Hockey, NZ Touch and the Vodafone Warriors. He has been working with Bay Olympic's 1st Team for the last 4 weeks and the players have noticed a huge inprovement.

Waitakere United became the first club to win four ASB Premiership titles in a row after outgunning Super City rivals Auckland City 4-3 in Whenuapai last Sunday 17th March. Congratulations to Leah Mettam for being selected for the National Women’s League squad. Leah is only 14 and the youngest member of the squad. This season she played in the Bay Olympic U15 Galaxy team as well as in our Women's First team.

Congratulations to the mighty Bay Olympic 8th Grade Lions at winning the Lynn Avon Tournament Plate. They beat Three Kings 3-2 on penalties in the final, a super way to end the season.

Waitakere United won the ASB Premiership Grand Final on Saturday evening, 28th April, at Trusts Stadium, beating Team Wellington 4 - 1. The win gives W.U. a place in the 2013 Oceania competition, the winner of which goes to the FIFA Club World Cup. Bay Olympic are founding members of the W.U. franchise.
