Last Year, I put out a request for assistance, from anybody who was keen to come on board, with the goal of helping develop Western AFC Juniors, so that it's competitive with the top clubs in Christchurch.

With that, I am pleased to announce our new look junior Committee for 2009:

 As a team, we will be working closely together to promote football from the babies to the promising young seniors.

As always, we are on the lookout for people to put their hand up offering help. Both new and/or experienced coaches are more than welcome to join in. 

JUNIOR SUBSCRIPTIONS

Towards the end of last season, there was mention of an increase in the price of subs for the 2009 season. At that stage, the proposed increased was due to the demands being placed on the clubs for teams in the competition grades. Since then, there have been a number of increases in the levies that are paid to NZ Football, Canterbury Football and Mainland Football. The club has had to review all subs across the board, and they now stand as : 

Kindy : 4-6 year Olds $15

Non Comp : 7-10 Year Olds $70

Competition Intermediate : 11-12 Year Olds $75

Competition Youth : 13+ Year Olds $80

The Family Rate was $100 for 2 or more children. This price cannot be maintained and each family with 2 or more children registering, will be negotiated on an individual basis, depending on the ages of the children being registered. As a club, we will do our utmost to support family registrations.
