Breakers Face Determined Noosa in Final Round of 2012
Our Under 12 Div 1 team came up against Noosa Red who were fighting for a spot in the finals, and who certainly 'came to play'.
Lagging out of the blocks, our Breakers trainled at quarter time and were looking to bounce back in the second quarter, but it just didnt happen as the 12 point deficit turned into an insurmountable 40 point half time lead to Noosa.
Such is the character of our Coolum Under 12's that they kicked 7 goals to 4 in the second half and reduced the final margin, and perhaps this was just the little reminder that the team needs as it heads into the finals.
Tom Ansell kicked 4 goals for the Breakers whilst Thoma Griffiths, Ben Dickson and Euan Buxton were amongst the best for our great U12 team who take on Caloundra in the Second Semi Final for a spot in the Grand Final.
