With a solid base in 2012 and some keen new players to boost their ranks, our Coolum Beach Breakers believe it both feasible and achievable to field three Under 8 and three Under 10 teams in 2013.

So there is every likelihood that for some mums and dads, washing the footy jumpers will enter the twighlight zone as we will see Coolum Beach Blue, Red & White teams running around in the new season!

The Under 8's have a great core of players to return in 2013 and we expect many of the Auskick kids from 2012 to step up for the great fun and learning of playing Under 8 football.

With 23 Under 10's from 2012 likely to don the Breaker's jumper again this year, we just need 13 more to have more than enough and hsitory suggests that U8's and 10's enjoys the biggest influx of new players each year.

But lets not leave it to chance! Our Breakers players and families are our best recruiters so if you know of a young girl or boy who would love to be part of the Breakers, please seek them out and encourage them to join.

Footy in Coolum doesnt start until March but we've got Australia Day and the annual Sign On Day is Saturday February 16 so the Sherrin's will soon be flying around again!
