Introduction Whether you're a novice or a professional athlete, injury is a part of sport. Eventually every player will come across a minor or major injury. It is the attitude and the mind-set of the athlete to prevent and to correctly rehabilitate injuries to prevent further occurrences or damage. AFL is highly considered a contact sport and with the Gold Coast Stingray's extensive pre-championship training; injury is on the cards for some players. The Gold Coast Stingrays' Development Program over the pre-championship period is designed to provide services simular to that of senior football and give you a taste of what is to come. The players are expected to adopt the competitiveness and commitment and make use of these resources available.
