Both Steve Langridge and Lachlan Keating played a major role in pioneering the Christchurch Bulldogs club and guiding them to success with 4 Grand Final appearances, including two flags in the last 4 seasons.
Steve Langridge pioneered the club in 2006 after breaking away from the University Cougars to form a new club. Since this time he has performed the role of player, captain, coach, president and most recently umpire. Without his pioneering spirit, hard work and passion the club would not have got off the ground and had such great success in the last 4 seasons. Langers returns home to be alongside his Father who is ill. Thanks Langers and all the best back in Victoria with your family.
Lachlan Keating has also been instrumental in the clubs success coaching the club between 2009 and 2011 as well as being club secretary and captain at different times. The hard working backman and forward was also well known for his knack of 'recruiting' players to the club with his persuasive Aussie personality. Lachlan is on the move to Wellington for work and we wish him and his family all the very best. Thanks Lach!
On behalf of the Christchurch Bullldogs club I would like to thank both of you for your blood, sweat and tears. Your always welcome back
