D'Lesha Lloyd Joins West Brisbane Falcons
D'Lesha Lloyd is the new import signing for the Brisbane Capitals QBL Women's Team for 2015. D"Lesha has also joined the West Brisbane Falcons GBL Women's Program and is a welcome addition to our Women's program for 2015.
D'Lesha will be at Falcons training this Tuesday May 12, along with Club President Craig Leaney, to meet and be involved with the teams' training that evening/night.
So for those that see D'Lesha at training this Tuesday be sure to say G'day and welcome her to the Falcons Nest.

Player Bio:
D’Lesha is a highly diversified player who would be a great asset to any team that is looking for an immediate impact. D’Lesha is a strong shooting guard but with her excellent work ethic and great athletic ability she is also a threat playing the small forward position. With playing in one of the toughest conferences in the NCAA Division 1 the Atlantic Coast Conference (ACC), D’Lesha has proved that she has the mentality, ability and skill level to continue playing basketball at a high level.
D’Lesha has played in Russia (Eurocup), Germany, Australia, Cyprus, and Norway. She has been the leading scorer on each team. She averaged 25ppg. 10rpg. and 3.4stl in Norway where her team is at the top of the ladder. She most currently plays in Australia averaging 21 points and 12 rebounds. She has shown that if given the challenge she will prove her dominance.
College Highlights:
2007-2008: Led team in scoring and third in rebounding. Recorded a career-high 31 points vs. Virginia Tech and a career-high 16 rebounds vs. Rice University.
2006-2007: Led team in scoring and second in rebounding. Ranked 12th in scoring and 15th in rebounding in the ACC. Recorded a season high 29 points and had 7 double doubles. Named to the Dead River Company Classic All-Tournament Team. Named Most Valuable Player (MVP) by her teammates for the season.
2005-2006: Recorded a season-high 17 points against Georgia Tech and a season-high 7 rebounds against Wake Forest
2004-2005: Second in scoring and third in rebounding while as a freshman, averaging 19.2 minutes per game
