Parents and spectators should remember that the Coach and his Assistants have been appointed to direct and control the team. Parents & Spectators must not interfere in that function.
Parents are encouraged to support the players by their presence at matches. The Club and its players benefit from parental input.
To enable children to play Junior Football, parents MUST be prepared to help their child's team(s) perform these duties when asked or on a roster system if so organized by team management.
In addition to the Team Coach, Assistant Coach & Team Manager, each team must supply the following personnel per game;
- Trainer - Qualified to Level 1 accreditation.
- Scoreboard Attendant (home games only)
Parents should note;
The South Metro Junior Football League (SMJFL) for which the EMJFC is a member of, maintains a standard and efficiency of games played by fining the Clubs of any team that does not supply the above personnel at all home and away games.
Parents and spectators should be mindful of the conduct expected of players and themselves. They should ensure that they don't jeopardize those standards by refraining from the abuse of players, coaches, officials, umpires and opposition spectators.
Parents are responsible for the payment of annual subscriptions. Subscriptions are due at the beginning of the season. Un-financial players are not considered for selection in EMJFC teams. Parents are encouraged to approach the Treasurer on any sensitive issue related to the payment of subscriptions.
Parents should ensure that players are properly attired for games and training and that the players are present at both training and matches by the stated time.
Parents should ensure that jumpers and any other Club equipment are returned at the end of the season or they will be held responsible for the equivalent cost of same.
