WABL Men Coaching Appointments
With a growing domestic competition and inspiring growth in the junior numbers and subsequent high participation levels at the WABL try outs, the selection of Coaches is an important factor that’s been well considered and reviewed to enable the best possible environment for our young men and women to grow.
The Board of East Perth is proud to announce the appointment of the 2015 Coach selections for the Men’s program. The selection process has enabled all key stakeholder engagement inclusive of the SBL Head Coach Adam Forde that has consider the best fit for the applicants that were received.
Having said this Coach Henry, the SBL Women’s Coach has continued to be involved in try out sessions and selection process prior to the Women’s Coaches being announced. Coach Henry has heavy involvement of the SBL Women’s team attending sessions, actively running and inspiring our young women through this period. Once complete the recommendations will be reviewed by the Board and separate announcement will be made once candidates have been communicated with.

Congratulations to the successful Coaches, wishing you all the success for the 2015 season, having a new structure with player selections and grading system will enable a great foundation on the movement forward for the East Perth Eagles.
We would like to formally thank the outgoing Coaches for their respective efforts in the 2014 season, it’s important to recognise their efforts that has enabled the successful growth of the Club. Both success and growth would not be possible if it wasn’t for the efforts of Coaches as the various levels. Likewise we would like to pass on our thanks to all of the applications for Coaches, whilst difficult to change or have a pool of applicants it’s always a hard task to select a singular from multiples. Again thank you one and all.
Coach appointment period is for the 2015 season, East Perth Board will call for nominations at the end of the WABL season with a view of reviewing and appointing for the 2016 season by no later than year end of 2015.
